How I Lost Weight

Well I this week I had Tom Yum soup which is great and a little spicy, great meal right up there with the Lap Nan Seafood. I wanna stress the importance of eating foods that aren't fattening. I mean for one thing there are ALOT of good foods out there that won't make you fat,a little regular exercise can go along way in your health and I also think stress and worry is a factor as well. Maybe set a time aside everyday to do something calming. Anything meditation, Thai Chi, widdling, anything. Even if it's just 15 minutes a day, everyone needs to have some mind calming time everyday especially in this hectic age. :)
I don't have much in meals or new exercises today I have been doing my exercises and what not and doing my best to stay on my diet,it's a little harder to keep up with it at work but I'm doing my best to keep my meals right at lunchtime. I have a feeling I have to try harder,but we'll see about that next week. I'm gonna try to figure out some healthy meals to take to work and see if they work.I'll try to post them next week. :)

How I Lost Weight - My Weight

Hello,
Well I wanted to post my weight this weekend but unfortunately I became a little I'll maybe from the weather change or it could have been that everyone at work had been sick off and on the last few weeks, not sure. Anyways my wife had me in bed for the weekend, which honestly was really nice. :) So after a tiring weekend with my wife (Haha get it?)I finally got to check my weight, I'm at 170.5 so I haven't lost alot but it's been steadily going down, which is great. I'm thinking that I'll be doing good at 170 which at this rate, should be next week. This week I've been keeping pretty steady on the meals although we did have a huge family outing and had some Italian food, maybe thats why I only lost a half pound since the last weigh in. Well other than that I been trying to keep my meals more near oriental style and of course my wife has been helping with that. I'm thinking of doing a cleanse soon because I've heard that to help in your diet. From most my research your supposed to do it at the beginning of your diet, but I can't see it hurting me at this stage but only doing me good. You see I also have psoriosis, and with this new job, my daughter coming into our world, and bringing my wife to that states from Thailand, plus the change back to American foods, has flared up my psoriosis. Now it's not real bad but it's definitely annoying. One of the things besides my wife and family that I enjoyed in Thailand was the fact that after being there for only a week my psoriosis would go away completely. I believe it is because of my healthy eating, no stress, and happy lifestyle that I have out there. :)
Sorry getting off the subject, like I was saying I have been trying to keep on my asian/healthy food diet with a few slips here and there. Drinking alot of fluids,eating lots of fruits and eating as healthy as I can when it comes to meals. I think within the next few posts I will have to list all the different meals that I have been eating so you can take a shot at making them yourself, maybe one day I'll get to writing an e-book of Thai recipes that I personally have been eating.
I have been working out a bit still but I have been getting good exercise at work so I know thats been helping. I really think that the crunches help get your abs in shape and I have seen a change in only doing 25 a day, which lately has bee cut down to like every other day. Now that I am writing about it though I believe I Will pick it back up to every day.

I hope your all doing well with your weight loss goals and don't ever lose hope! You can do it! I believe there is a way to lose weight out there for everyone. This just happends to work for me, and I hope will work for you too or at least help you on your own path to lose the weight you want to.

How I lost Weight -Woot Feeling Good!

Yep by keeping on this diet that I have been on I am feeling lighter, more energetic, (but that could be because I work for a coffee company, lol) and in a great mood. I have been eating all the meales listed on all the posts. Plus I have been eating salads, with light dressing,lotsa apples,apple juice,oranges,orange juice,water,water and more water. I had a Thai dish a couple days ago and it was called Lap Nahn Seafood , it had shrimp , broccoli , squid , long green beans , white cauliflower and more. I f you ever go to a good Thai restaurant they will have it, and it is EXCELLENT. I'll be giving my weight next week and am trying to post in the middle of the week if at all possible. Which after this Sunday,(I'm watching the football game now), I'm a little hesitant because we always have a small party for football Sunday and we have hotdogs, ham sandwiches and the like brought over by others... If I can just hang on a little longer.. :)

Lose Weight -My Weight!

Well I have my weight, It's back down to 171 so I guess I'm doing good. I get good exercise at my new job and in this California heat I imagine I'm sweating off some pounds as well. I don't have any NEW meals to share with you at the moment that my wife has made, but I have had some really good microwave Wonton soup and I sometime put some extra veggies in it.. Yummy. I know not as imaginative as my wife.... Well I hope your all doing good in your quest to lose weight. I'm sorry I haven't been able to post for a while but with my newborn daughter and my new job I have been a little limited on time. I will most likely only be posting on the weekends now, so I'll see you all then. :)

How I Lost Weight - Great new mix of a meal!

I haven't been able to post for the last few days because I have been juggling my other internet ventures with going to a few interviews! happy to say I got both jobs and one is a very very high paying job. So woopie! Anyways since my last post my wife had created a new dish for me, it was fantastic! My entire family LOVED it. Just to give you the basics, it has the clear noodles (Glass noodles) and also the thick Asian noodles in it. I'm not sure what spices she uses or the amounts but experiment... Then she bought a HUGE slab of meat and cut it up into bite sized pieces. Mixed it with cabbage, asparagus and cauliflower and presto! YUMMMY! And healthy to as far as I can tell. Like I said my there were about six family members at the house a couple days ago and they ALL loved it.

I've been keeping up on my exercises and even got a couple days of light rollerblading in(love it).So I'll be checking on my weight here in a couple more days to make sure I'm up to par. I think it depends on the person whether you way yourself each day or not. I think if you way yourself everyday it can CRAWL up on you and all of a sudden your 4 or 5 pounds over what you were the first day you weighed yourself but it doesn't seem that bad because it seems like it went up gradually,but each to their own ,thats just my theory, maybe if you wrote it down each day then it would be more of an impact. Well it's time for me to do a small work-out, play an online game and go to bed. I wish you all a good weekend!

How I Lost Weight -Todays Breakfast and Dinner

Well today was rather a different Saturday because I had an orientation for a new job. I did wake up this morning and have some left over Tuna Casserole , I brought an orange and apple and a ham sandwich to work with me to munch on, and lots of water. I didn't get any exercise this morning but I sure did get some tonight. Crunches and push ups.. 25 of each. Tonight for dinner my wife made me a really interesting mixture of asparagus, tomatoes, white cauliflower, green cauliflower, those flat green beans,and some kind of asian sauce.. I was really good. Well thats it for today.. I think consistency in good eating habit really helps your weight loss program.. Not to say that you can't have an occasional pizza or Ice cream or whatever just not in excess.. It's hard sometimes I think untill you get used to going with out it.. I know for me, some foods are just plain addictive. Like a drug problem or a bad habit, you know you should't be eating it, you know it isn't really healthy and you've already had your fat treat for the week or whatever, but ya do it anyways. Shoot some of the things I just get out of habit like burritos and what not.. I don't really want one, but I'm hungry and it's familiar and I ALWAYS used to order them... So it's like a habit..Realizing that for me, is what USUALLY stops me.. :)

Losing Weight

Hello I hope your all having a good day. Today on my keeping my weight down quest I at a light eggs breakfast with onions and tomatoes with no bread. Then for lunch I ate some plums and an orange. Tonight I had some Hicama(can find at grocery stores) and Tuna Casserole. I only had a small serving of the casserole, a relative brought it over and I didn't want to be rude. :) Anyways that and my regular exercises were all I had time for today. I didn't get a jog in today, but I should be able to work in a good jog or some rollerblading in tomorrow.
